Delta hospital ltd. is the only one private organisation that they have Linear Accelerator Machine. It is one of the most important and advanced technological equipment for cancer treatment. This Linear Accelerator can provides 6Mev Photon and Electron of energies ranging from 6Mev to 14Mev

Cobalt-60 Teletherapy Unit
There are two cobalt-60 teletherapy equipments for treating the cancer patients.

SIMULATOR
Simulator is the successful tool for tumor location. Location of tumor and adjust critical organs are done with this help of at to treat the patient effectively and efficiently.

MAMMOGRAPHY
Breast Cancer is the second highest occurrence in female patient. Early diagnosis is very important for all Cancer, especially for breast Cancer. Early treatment of breast cancer can cure the disease. Mammography is one of the important tools for the diagnosis.

Brachy Therapy (Low dose rate Cesium-137).

External radiotherapy is not enough for treating the cancer of the uterus, ovary, cervix etc. brachy therapy is needed for successful management of the cancer patients.

The Oncology Unit in collaboration with the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and the German Society of Radiation Physicist regularly organizes workshops on quality assurance in radiation oncology.

And also it is gratifying to note that the Oncology Unit of DHL has been chosen by BUET and Gonobishaw Biddalay for training and research for M. Phil, and Ph. D, students as well as for the training of Radiotherapy technologists.
